Our team
David Deplaris, CHST is the founder and primary consultant at D2 Safety Services, LLC. He started his safety journey in the Emergency Services performing fire and life safety evaluations of facilities while concurrently providing emergency medical services within the private emergency services.
In 2011, he bridged into the hazmat and environmental remediation industry, beginning his formal EHS professional journey. That experience directly developed his operations supportive mindset within a safety role.
In 2015, he ventured forward into the construction and related services industries. Serving as the Safety Director for a privately owned group of companies, averaging 10 companies, as the sole safety professional. Simply put, he was boots on the ground, individual company manager and corporate director; developing, implementing and managing all facets of EHS functions. This included corporate safety management, safety culture development, employee safety qualifications, training development and providing said training. In addition, Subcontractor Safety evaluation and development assistance was also a critical skill set developed during his tenure.
To further his career, Dave entered the global EHS world, working for a Global Engineering/manufacturing/construction company focusing on Post Tension systems (bridges, including stay cable), geotechnical stabilization and life span management of infrastructure.
Our history
D2 Safety started in 2013 providing EHS compliance and safety management guidance to employers in the environmental world.
D2 Safety Services, LLC evolved with the experience of its founder and was formally established as an LLC in 2017. Keeping true to its mission by providing regulatory compliance assistance and Safety coaching to small to medium construction, manufacturing and industrial firms. This included providing training, such as OSHA 10 and 30 hour training.
